Out October 25th via Autotelic Records/Thirty Tigers, Blood is the first solo album in four years from acclaimed singer/songwriter Allison Moorer. The album is a ten track song cycle containing the award-winning musician's most personal and revealing work to date. While Blood stands on its own as a complete work, the album also serves as a companion piece to her autobiography, Blood: A Memoir, released on October 29th through Da Capo Press, an imprint of Hachette Books. In this haunting and vivid memoir, Moorer uses her lyrical storytelling powers to share the story of an unthinkable act of violence and ultimate healing through art.
