Parking F.A.Q.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION!
There is limited parking available on the property at Grimey’s. We share our parking lot with several rad businesses: Living Waters Brewing, Anaconda Vintage, Legion Jiu Jitsu and Rising Sun Crossfit.
When parking in our paved parking lot, only park in designated, marked spots. Do not 'make-your-own-parking-spot' on the pavement or you will be towed.
Nearby there are two pay lots—the first is a paved lot behind Eastside Music Supply, Elegy Coffee and Mickey's Tavern near Gallatin Road & Trinity Lane; the next is a new gravel lot behind the car wash on Gallatin Road, beside Nicoletto’s (the entrance is in the alley, off Dozier.)
If you are dropping off a record or book buy and cannot find a nearby parking space, please park temporarily with your hazards on near our front entrance and we’ll help you unload your stuff.
If parking on the narrow neighborhood streets around the store please use EXTREME CAUTION and your best judgement. DO NOT BLACK ACCESS TO MAIL BOXES OR DRIVEWAYS. Too many cars parked on both sides of the street make these roads impassable and result in frustrated neighbors, tickets, and towed cars—YOU WILL BE TICKETED OR TOWED. Please help us be good neighbors by respecting those who live on the surrounding streets.
Consider carpooling, ride-sharing, taking the bus, walking, biking, scooter-ing or roller skating when coming to the record store, especially when attending events.
