Amy Grant Grimey’s Instore

We are thrilled to welcome Amy Grant to Grimey’s on Saturday, May 9th! We’ll be celebrating the release of her new album, The Me That Remains, with an intimate performance by Grant to be followed by an album signing. You can preorder your copy of her new album on vinyl or CD in the record store or on our webstore—all who do will receive a wristband with their preorder. Wristbands are required for the album signing* and guarantee your entrance to our event. (*Kids 12 & under don’t require a wristband if attending with a wristband-holding adult.) The signing portion of our event is an album signing only where Grant will sign her new release as well as copies of her previous albums (vinyl, CDs, tapes!), with a limit of up to three total albums signed per individual. You can read more about her new record and place your preorder now on our site here.

Amy Grant’s new album, The Me That Remains was produced by ten-time CMA Award winner and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer Mac McAnally. The project marks Grant’s first collection of all-original songs in 13 years. Grant, a local Nashvillian, is a six-time GRAMMY® Award winner and 2022 Kennedy Center Honoree.

Leaning fully into her strengths as a songwriter, The Me That Remains finds Grant taking a clear-eyed look at where she stands personally, spiritually, and creatively today. Across its ten tracks, the album reflects on healing, connection, endurance, and grace, shaped by the life experience of a beloved musician now more than 50 years into a groundbreaking career. First previewed with “The 6th of January (Yasgur’s Farm),” a meditation on unity and perspective inspired by the idealism of the Woodstock era, the album signals a more stripped-down, singer-songwriter approach that defines the project as a whole.

Throughout the album, McAnally’s understated production allows Grant’s voice - warm and resolute - to take center stage. Songs like “How Do We Get There From Here” (feat. Ruby Amanfu) wrestle with collective healing; “The Saint,” co-written with longtime collaborator Michael W. Smith, offers a portrait of redemption; while collaborations with Vince Gill, Sarah Cannon, and Corrina Gill reflect the personal and musical relationships that have shaped her life.

We’re super excited to be able to celebrate The Me That Remains the day after it’s released and the day after Grant’s headlining set at The Ryman Auditorium. Make sure you’re able to be here with us for this special occasion—you can secure your copy of her new album + a wristband for her signing on our site here or in the record store, while supplies last. (Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and they guarantee your spot in the shop for her performance too.) Can’t wait to see you soon, Nashville!
