We hope you can join us on Wednesday, June 21st at 4:00 PM for an intimate in-store performance by Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors when we celebrate the release of their new album, Strangers No More! Hot off the heels of their performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, Drew and co will be joining us in the record store for a short set of tunes, followed by an album signing* to commemorate the release of their latest record. (Wristbands required for the album signing for all 12+.) Strangers No More is the ninth full-length studio album for Nashville based Holcomb and his longtime bandmates, The Neighbors—Nathan Dugger (guitar), Rich Brinsfield (bass), Will Sayles (drums), and Ian Miller (keys). The album offers an all-encompassing view not only of the places Holcomb & The Neighbors have been, but where they are headed next, too. From ageless folk music to atmospheric Americana to soulful rock & roll, the album marks an ambitious new chapter in the band’s story.
We’ve been privy to watching the band’s story evolve, having previously hosted Holcomb for fantastic record release celebrations a couple of times over the years. We’re thrilled to be able to work with him and the band again to properly welcome Strangers No More into the world! You can preorder the new album on limited edition Blue Marble colored vinyl and CD in the record store and on our site here. All who preorder the record for local pickup will also receive a wristband for the post-performance album signing. Wristbands are required for the signing (for those 12+) but not necessarily for the performance, however, space is limited and wristbands guarantee entrance to our event.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION! Our parking lot is shared with other rad businesses and it is a finite space, so parking is limited. In addition to our lot, there is an inexpensive paid parking lot behind Elegy Coffee and Mickey's on Gallatin Road that is a short walk from the shop. Please use EXTREME CAUTION if parking on the nearby, narrow neighborhood streets. Too many cars make these roads impassable and result in angry neighbors, the police being called, and cars being towed. (This is no fun at all.) If possible, please consider carpooling, ride-sharing, walking, biking, scooting, roller skating, or taking the bus to attend our Drew Holcomb record release celebration.
