Celebrate Leap Day with a free, live in-store performance from Illiterate Light! From tending to their organic crops, to touring the southeast states by bicycle, alternative-rock duo Illiterate Light recently released their self-titled major label debut. The self-titled album features melodic highlights like "Sometimes Love Takes So Long" - produced by 6x Grammy Award-winning producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Kings of Leon, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson) and "Better Than I Used To" - produced by Adrian Olsen (Foxygen, Futurebirds, Natalie Prass), and also guitar heavy tracks like "Existential Crisis" and "Carolina Lorelei" - which NPR named on their Best Songs of 2019 (So Far) List. Illiterate Light members Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran met in 2010 at a Flaming Lips show, and shortly afterward began churning out quality tunes in their local Harrisonburg, VA music scene. Now relocated to Nashville, Jeff & Jake will rock the Grimey's stage on Leap Day! - Saturday, February 29th, at 5PM, during BEER:30. Free show for everyone, free beer for 21 and ups! And catch them play a full set later that night when they perform at The Basement East. Tickets for that show are currently available from the venue..
