We're super stoked to welcome Kelsey Waldon to Grimey's to celebrate her new album

White Noise/White Lines with a free, all ages, in-store performance & album signing! Waldon is the first new artist signed to John Prine's Oh Boy! Records in 15 years.

On her new album Kelsey Waldon captures the rugged country sound of her touring band without sacrificing the intimacy of her songwriting. Kelsey is native of Monkey's Eyebrow, Kentucky (true story!) She took an interest in singing, songwriting and playing guitar as a child and after moving to Nashville, she earned a college degree and began a slow-burning career, playing opening gigs for fellow Kentuckians like Tyler Childers and touring across the country. That persistence paid off with performance slots on the Grand Ole Opry, an appearance at Bonnaroo, and an invitation to open shows for John Prine in 2018. And now, freshly signed to Oh Boy! Records, Waldon delivers White Noise/White Lines, co-produced by Kelsey and producer/engineer Dan Knobler (Rodney Crowell, Erin Rae, Caroline Spence, Lake Street Dive). The new album is officially out October 4th, but we'll have copies of the vinyl & CD for sale at the in-store a week earlier - September 27th, at 6PM. The performance is free and open to all. To go through the signing line following the performance you'll need a wristband, which you can get by buying a record or CD at the in-store or preordering it here.
