Hardcore merchants Knocked Loose are set to release their 2nd full-length album A Different Shade Of Blue on August 23rd. The Kentucky band made a big splash with their 2016 debut album, Laugh Tracks, packing a powerful punch thanks to a combination of hardcore, metal, and punk. Fit for an Autopsy guitarist Will Putney, who produced Laugh Tracks, is back at the helm for A Different Shade of Blue. The album contains 12 songs, including first offering "...And Still I Wander South." In a press release, singer Bryan Garris said the single "is about wanting to move on, or better yourself for whatever reason, but you keep going back to the same old thing. Whether that be depression or whatever you may be going through. You always wander back to the same mindset." We're stoked to welcome Knocked Loose to Grimey's for their first in-store performance with us, in celebration of their new album on the day after it's released! Starting Friday, August 23rd, when we open at 10AM, you can stop in Grimey's and get your wristband when you purchase either the vinyl or CD for the Knocked Loose album and you'll be set for the show on Saturday. Purchase of the record is required to go through the signing line after the performance. One wristband per LP or CD purchased. The band will also sign other items but you must buy their new album at Grimey's to meet the band. Thanks.
