Nashville’s own Maggie Rose will release her highly anticipated new studio album Half Moon on August 14th and we’re thrilled to host her at Grimey’s that day to celebrate! Produced by Lawrence Rothman (Amanda Shires, Margo Price) and Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Leon Bridges), Half Moon reveals the rare magic of hard-won momentum meeting a creative spirit in peak bloom. Rose will perform a short set of songs from her new album and then will sign copies of Half Moon for attendees. The new album is available to preorder in the record store and on our site here on limited edition 180g Maroon Colored Viny LP in Gatefold Jacket with 12x12 Insert. (Half Moon is also available to preorder on CD.) All who preorder the album from Grimey’s will receive a wristband for Rose’s post-performance signing. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and also guarantee entrance to our event. (Kids 12 & under do not require a wristband if attending with a wristband-holding adult.)
After devoting more than a decade to deepening her craft and unlocking the full force of her extraordinary voice, Rose experienced a rapid rise in recognition, including scoring back-to-back GRAMMY nominations for her lauded 2024 album No One Gets Out Alive and her 2025 single “Poison In My Well” with Grace Potter, and earning an Emerging Act Of The Year nod from the Americana Music Association in 2025. Variety proclaimed Maggie is, “a queen among Nashville singers.” A true road warrior, Maggie has shared the stage with the likes of Chris Stapleton, Kelly Clarkson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Dave Matthews Band, MyMorning Jacket, Heart, Melissa Etheridge, Molly Tuttle, Lake Street Dive and more—Rose has played the Grand Ole Opry over 100 times. She also hosts her own podcast, Salute The Songbird, where she engages in candid conversations with her female musical heroes.
