We couldn't be more excited to welcome Marcus King back to Grimey's for his first in-store performance at our new location. He's got a new album called El Dorado, coming out on Friday, January 17th, and he'll be rocking the shop on that same day at 6PM!

El Dorado is the mythical City of Gold in Spanish legend, the place where dreams come true. As the people willing to take that leap have discovered - the search can't truly begin until you've learned to let go - of the past, of yourself. So, it was with Marcus King who, at just 23 years of age has emerged as a vital and powerful force in American music. Teaming with producer Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) for sessions at Auerbach's Easy Eye Studio, the pair co-wrote the 11 songs on El Dorado.

Marcus King first played at Grimey's back in 2015 when his first album came out and we're stoked to have him back for this new chapter in his career. We'll have plenty of copies of El Dorado on vinyl and CD and a limited amount of LPs and CDs signed by Marcus. His schedule doesn't permit time to stick around after his performance to sign records so he's signing some of the stock ahead of time so don't miss out!
