Grammy Award-winning modern American roots band Old Crow Medicine Show spin traditional folk and bluegrass yarns with a rock & roll attitude. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band may specialize in rags, hollers, and pre-World War II blues, but they were weaned on Nirvana and Public Enemy. Since forming in the late '90s, the band has released six acclaimed studio albums, including 2014's Remedy, which took home the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album. They have been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry Hall of Fame, toured with Merle Haggard and Marty Stuart, played on NPR's Prairie Home Companion, and logged multiple appearances at high-profile festivals like Bonnaroo, MerleFest, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and Newport Folk Festival.

For their latest release, OCMS present Live From The Ryman. Honoring the history and traditions of the legendary Ryman Auditorium, Live From The Ryman captures the raucous energy of Old Crow Medicine Show's performances, recorded throughout their many headlining shows on the hallowed ground of Nashville's Mother Church. Margo Price and new Old Crow Medicine Show collaborator Charlie Worsham appear on Live at the Ryman, with Price duetting with the group's Ketch Secor on "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man," the 1973 Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn hit. Join us for a free, all ages in-store performance by Old Crow at the other church - Grimey's! - on Sunday, October 6th, at 1PM.

Live At The Ryman is out October 4th on CD. The vinyl is due out November 22nd. You'll need a wristband to go through the signing line following the live performance. You can purchase a CD to receive a wristband, but if you prefer the vinyl, you can preorder a vinyl copy to receive later and we'll have a special poster you can get signed at the in-store. Either way, preorders are up now if you want to lock it in.
