In an era where representation and inclusivity are more crucial than ever, a groundbreaking DIY festival is making waves in the music scene. Named "True Variety Fest," this event is dedicated exclusively to BIPOC, Women fronted, and LGBTQ bands and artists, offering them a platform to shine and share their unique musical narratives. The creator of Joyce Booking is a passionate advocate for diversity in the arts, the festival is more than just a musical gathering. It's a movement. Set against the backdrop of the diverse cultural tapestry of the USA, the festival aims to amplify the voices of BIPOC artists, fostering a sense of community, collaboration, and mutual support among them. True Variety Fest is not just a festival; it's a movement. "A harmonious blend of music, culture, and purpose, we aim to amplify underrepresented Nashville voices while championing the values of equality and justice." - Bria McCollum, founder

But the ambitions of True Variety Fest extend beyond the stage. In a significant gesture of solidarity and commitment to broader societal change, the organizers have pledged to donate a portion of the festival's earnings to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). This decision underscores their dedication to championing civil rights, equality, and justice, both within and outside the music industry. For those eager to dive into this musical and cultural extravaganza, the festival's official Instagram page, @TrueVarietyFest, is buzzing with updates, artist line-ups, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and more. It's not just a sneak peek into the festival but a testament to the vibrant community it aims to build. In a world where the arts often mirror society's shifts and evolutions, the True Variety Fest stands as a beacon of hope and change. With its dual mission of celebrating talent and supporting civil rights, it promises to be more than just an event—it's a statement, a revolution, and most importantly, a celebration of diversity in its truest form. Join us here in Nashville at The Cobra on Sunday November 12th for this symphony of change. Buy your ticket now!
