New Releases

Andy Shauf - The Neon Skyline CD/LP (ANTI-)

Few artists are storytellers as deft and disarmingly observational as Andy Shauf. The Toronto-based, Saskatchewan-raised musician's songs unfold like short fiction: they're densely layered with colorful characters and a rich emotional depth. On his new album The Neon Skyline, he sets a familiar scene of inviting a friend for beers on the opening title track: "I said, 'Come to the Skyline, I'll be washing my sins away.' He just laughed, said 'I'll be late, you know how I can be.'" The LP's eleven interconnected tracks follow a simple plot: the narrator goes to his neighborhood dive, finds out his ex is back in town, and she eventually shows up. While its overarching narrative is riveting, the real thrill of the album comes from how Shauf finds the humanity and humor in a typical night out and the ashes of a past relationship. [Indie-exclusive vinyl edition.]

The Wood Brothers - Kingdom In My Mind CD (Honey Jar)

The Wood Brothers' new studio album Kingdom In My Mind represents a reckoning of sorts, examining circumstance, mortality and human nature. Finding strength in accepting what lies beyond our control, the material on Kingdom In My Mind hones in on the bittersweet beauty that underlies doubt and pain and sadness with vivid character studies and unflinching self-examination. While the lyrics dig deep, the trio draws from across a broad sonic spectrum to create a set of songs that although thoughtful and inward looking is ultimately transportive and effervescent. [Vinyl is out Feb 14. Preorder yours from Grimey's for a wristband to go through the signing line after The Wood Brothers' free live in-store performance on February 24th at 6PM!]

The Haden Triplets - Family Songbook CD/LP (Trimeter)

The Family Songbook is a tribute to the family's American heartland heritage. The album includes four recently unearthed songs by their grandfather, Carl E. Haden, friend to the Carter Family, Porter Wagoner and other icons. The songs were written during the Depression when he was in his 20s. [The Haden Triplets will be a free, all ages in-store live set at Grimey's on Monday, March 23rd, at 6PM!]

Wolf Parade - Thin Mind CD/LP+MP3 (Sub Pop)

Wolf Parade's fifth album, Thin Mind marks a return to the original power trio of Dan Boeckner, Spencer Krug, and Arlen Thompson, following multi-instrumentalist Dante DeCaro's amicable departure from the group in 2018. The band's decision to forge a future-forward sound using a myriad of synthesizers - from '80s synths and '90s MIDI to more modern, kitchen sink instruments - recalls the sonics of Wolf Parade's earliest EPs. Album highlights include "Julia, Take Your Man Home", "Forest Green" and "Against The Day", with lyrics split evenly between Dan and Spencer. On "Julia, Take Your Man Home", Spencer imagines the worst version of himself over a deep groove and an exaggerated, fictitious caricature. "Forest Green" gallops along to a synthetic clip of Arlen's electronic drum kit while Dan's lyrics encapsulate the profound beauty, and ugliness, of Vancouver Island - not only where Thin Mind was recorded, but where Arlen and Spencer now live, and Dan grew up. "Against The Day", which features shared verses from Spencer and Dan, similarly constructs a synthetic shell to examine what's natural and what is not.

The Black Lips - Sing In A World That's Falling Apart CD/LP+MP3 (Fire)

Like so many dramatic moments in the Black Lips career, Sing In A World That's Falling Apart was born out of crisis. Skidding onto the asphalt in a shower of sparks, they roll on with an unapologetic southern-fried twang, pacing the beast, every now and then dropping a psycho howl into the rubber room madness lurking underneath the truck stop fireworks.

Pet Shop Boys - Hotspot CD/LP+MP3 (x2 Recordings)

"Remembrance of clubs past motivates Neil Tennant at 65. The melancholy and wit which gave ambiguity and amused bite to the Pet Shop Boy's pop pomp has matured naturally into distanced reflections on hedonism. Recorded partly in Berlin's iconic Hansa studio, Hotspot's vintage synths add a mechanistic clank and tactile detail to their music's glide, the Hi-NRG pulse which so entranced them in the 1980s now part of a Proustian rather than active E rush. Having ceded their place at pop's heart at the century's start, they now burnish memories and paint characters like old masters." - The Arts Desk

Breaking Benjamin - Aurora CD/LP (Hollywood)

Aurora features reimagined versions of Breaking Benjamin's biggest and most popular songs with special guests including Lacey Sturm (ex-Flyleaf), Scooter Ward (Cold), Adam Gontier (ex-Three Days Grace), Spencer Chamberlain (Underoath) and Michael Barnes (Red). Highlights include their new track, "Far Away", "Dear Agony", which just celebrated its 10th year anniversary in September 2019, as well as "So Cold" and "Red Cold River", both of which were No. 1 rock radio hits. Founder/frontman Ben Burnley notes that, "This album is a celebration of our incredible fans; for those who have been there since hearing 'So Cold' for the first time in 2004, and the new ones who have joined us on this amazing journey along the way. We've always shared a unique emotional connection to our music with our fans, and this album attributes to those dark times and euphoric ones. From wherever you joined along the road to Aurora, this one is for you. Thank you."

Twin Atlantic - Power CD/LP (Harvest)

Twin Atlantic return with aplomb on Power, their scorching, charged-up fourth LP. The record's first taste arrives in the shape of the addictive "Novocaine" - a racing, adrenalized synth-rock anthem.

Terry Allen & The Panhandle Mystery Band - Just Like Moby Dick CD/2xLP (Paradise Of Bachelors)

Iconic and iconoclastic Texan songwriter and visual artist Terry Allen's heartbreaking, hilarious new album, his first set of new songs since 2013's Bottom Of The World, features the full Panhandle Mystery Band, including co-producer Charlie Sexton (Dylan, Bowie, Blaze), Shannon McNally, and Jo Harvey Allen; mainstays Bukka Allen, Richard Bowden, and Lloyd Maines; and co-writes with Joe Ely and Dave Alvin.

Bonny Light Horseman - Bonny Light Horseman CD/LP (37D03D/SCD)

The timeless qualities of traditional tunes can carry us across oceans and eons, linking us not only to the past but to each other as well. It was under the banner of those eternal connections that the trio of Bonny Light Horseman came together. From Wisconsin festival fields and a German art hub to a snowy upstate studio and everywhere in between, the astral folk outfit - comprised of Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson, and Josh Kaufman - is mixing the ancient, mystical medium of transatlantic traditional folk music with a contemporary, collective brush. The resulting album, Bonny Light Horseman, is an elusive kind of sonic event: a bottled blend of lightning and synergy that will excite fans of multiple genres, eras, and ages. Nowhere on Bonny Light Horseman does the music feel staid, or burdened from the too-tight fit of a stuffy Renaissance collar. This is colorful, textured work: a lush and loving ode to the past with one eye fixed on the present. Not once did the band feel burdened by the errand of a too-faithful homage, instead reveling in a sense of freedom to take leaps and liberties as they saw fit. [Limited blue seaglass colored vinyl pressing.]

Okay Kaya - Watch This Liquid Pour Itself CD/LP (Jagjaguwar)

In Okay Kaya's songs, her world looks a lot like ours - Netflix, jetlag, vegan peanut butter and chocolate ice cream, lonely bowls of ramen, diet trends. But unlike ours, each of these vibrates and shimmers with deeper, darker meaning, with existential dread and desire for understanding. Through Norwegian-raised New Yorker Kaya's dreamy soft-focus lens, the language of Twitter memes becomes modernist poetry as her breathy contralto voice sings lines like, "If you don't love me at my guttural sound, you don't deserve me at my guttural sound." This is Sade for nihilists. [Limited colored vinyl pressing.]

Lisa Mills - The Triangle CD/LP (BMG)

With her new album The Triangle, Lisa Mills takes listeners on a musical, and often humorous, emotional journey with charm and panache that is melodic, raw, unfettered and, most important, brutally honest: expect blues, country, gospel and soul influences. The confluence of influences that comprise the namesake river of Lisa Mills' native Mississippi are indeed "mighty". However, to lump her interpretation of those blues, country, gospel and soul influences under the catch-all "roots music" moniker is both right...and entirely wrong. Her defiance of description is what makes Mills a singular talent. She takes the best of each these genres, whether self-penned or carefully chosen covers that speak to her in some way, and utterly transforms them. By taking all those ingredients and adding the occasional dollop of jazz inflection, Mills serves up her own savory-sweet mix that goes beyond the expected.

en Attendant Ana - Juillet CD/LP (Trouble In Mind)

With the release of Juillet, Parisian quintet en Attendant Ana make good on the promise of their album Lost & Found (2018), diligently crafting a set of ten songs that shimmer, glide and sway with a sophistication only hinted at by their debut. [Limited colored vinyl pressing.]

Glass Beach - The First Blass Beach Album CD/2xLP (Run For Cover)

Glass Beach describes their sound as the accumulation of jazz, new wave, synth music, and emo distorted through the lens of punk. The songs that make up their eponymous debut album are ambitious, theatrical and chaotic. [Limited colored vinyl pressing.]

Ethan Gruska - en Garde CD/LP (WB)

The Los Angeles-based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist releases his second album. Each of Gruska's compositions tell a vivid story surrounded by deceptively complex yet unrelentingly melodic musical structures. While conventional instruments include guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, occasional brass and strings, the studio itself becomes an instrument to be manipulated, chopped, channeled and utilized to recombine aural textures into almost unrecognizable sounds that manage to soothe as they ebb/flow and invite movement like all classic pop rock.

Caspian - On Circles CD/LP (Triple Crown)

Caspian, the symphonic Massachusetts-based band who have been dubbed "the most regal of the instrumental new rock school" (Pitchfork) and post-rock cosmonauts (Spin), return with their first album in over four years. "I've grown weary of reading about bands discuss the renewing, rehabilitative properties their most recent [album] has had on them," says guitarist/keyboardist Philip Jamieson of the mindset the band had going into recording On Circles. "They incur corrosion, come close to running out of gas, descend into the dark abyss, and finally emerge on the other side with a record that has given them crystal clear perspective and a confident path forward. On Circles is not that record." Instead, this majestic collision of post-rock, metal, shoegaze, electronics, noise, minimalism and ambient music is an existential meditation, an acceptance of the cyclical nature of both life and career. On Circles marks the most organic writing and recording sessions in Caspian's 15-year history. Together for four weeklong songwriting sessions, the band opted for music gleaming with visceral impact instead of over-thought tangles, over-arching concepts and drawn-out crescendos. [Indie-exclusive vinyl edition.]

Bohen & Der Club Of Gore - Patchouli Blue CD (Ipecac)

German darkjazz outfit Bohren & Der Club of Gore - who Pitchfork aptly describes as a combination of "lounge jazz, dark ambience, the languorous adagios of classical-music requiem, and the saturated romance of Italian film soundtracks" - return with their first new album in six years and ninth overall. The band shares: "Dear friends of music where hardly anything happens, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore is happy and proud, to announce their new album. You may have already given up hope, but miracles happen: Patchouli Blue - instrumental, slow, uneventful - as always. Love it, hate it, listen to it." [Vinyl due 2/14.]

Jeff Parker - Suite For Max Brown CD/LP (Nonesuch)

Though he invited in collaborators for this project, Jeff Parker is very much a solo artist on Suite For Max Brown. He constructs a digital bed of beats and samples; lays down tracks of his own on guitar, keyboards, bass, percussion, and occasionally voice; then invites musician friends to play and improvise over his melodies. But unlike a traditional jazz session, Parker doesn't assemble a full band in the studio for a day or two of live takes. His accompanists are often working alone with Parker, reacting to what Parker has provided them, and then Parker uses those individual parts to layer and assemble into his final tracks. The process may be relatively solitary and cerebral, but the results feel like in-the-moment jams - warm-hearted, human, alive. Suite For Max Brown brims with personality, boasting the rhythmic flow of hip hop and the soulful swing of jazz.

Oak - Lone CD/Deluxe CD (Transcending Obscurity)

Debut album from the atmospheric death/doom metal band.

Dirty Shirley - Dirty Shirley CD (Frontiers)

New project featuring powerhouse vocalist Dino Jelusic and George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, The End Machine).

Revolution Saints - Rise CD (Frontiers)

Deen Castronovo (The Dead Daisies, ex-Journey), Doug Aldrich (ex-Dio, Whitesnake), and Jack Blades (Night Ranger, Damn Yankees) return with their third album of classic melodic rock.

Passion - Passion CD (Frontiers)

Passion is a new band created by and centered around former Night By Night vocalist, Daniel Rossall a/k/a Lion Ravarez. Inspired by the hard rock giants of the '80s and '90s, this is an absolute must hear for fans with AC/DC, Aerosmith, Kiss, Danger Danger, Foreigner, Journey, Ratt, Van Halen, and the like.

Jorn - Heavy Rock Radio II - Executing The Classics CD (Frontiers)

One of the greatest rock singers of our time, Jorn Lande returns with a second installment of covers of classics from artists and bands that have meant something special to him and helped forge this talented man's own unique style. Includes covers of songs by Dio, Foreigner, Bryan Adams, Russ Ballard, Don Henley, Deep Purple, and more.

New on Vinyl

Stars - LaGuardia (The Best Of Stars) 2xLP (Arts & Crafts)

A career-spanning 'best of' from the beloved indie-pop band; a 20-song love letter to their consistency, their ongoing ability to find new inspiration and new messages to deliver in this vast and ever changing musical space - to keep up the fight. Taylor Swift - Should've Said No 7" (Big Machine) Limited white colored vinyl pressing. Rare acoustic version B-side.

Nicolas Godin - Concrete And Glass LP+CD (Because Music)

Following 2015's critically acclaimed Contrepoint, Nicolas Godin (Air) returns with his album Concrete And Glass. This stunning 10 track body of work documents a spirited long-distance journey which started in the Los Angeles' hills before crossing the suburbs of Moscow via Barcelona and the south of France. Featured artists include Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor, American psych-soul singer Kadhja Bonet, Australian musician Kirin J Callinan, Cola Boyy and more.

TNGHT - II 12"+MP3 (Warp)

TNGHT's crescent moon is appearing once again from behind heavy clouds. It has been seven years since Hudson Mohawke (Ross Birchard) and Lunice's (Lunice Fermin Pierre II) prodigious debut which accidentally changed the sound of the pop music caught in its wake. The pair of bedroom-producers-cum-super-producers come from Glasgow and Montreal and have aligned once again on a record which aims to chew up and spit out every influence in an exhilarating seven tracks. TNGHT II has the wildness turned up. In this, the second epoch, the pair explore new forms: they've collected more equipment, made a couple hits, own bigger speakers, loaded a thousand flutes into FL Studio.

Jaz Coleman - Magna Invocatio - A Gnostic Mass 2xLP (Spinefarm)

The iconic Killing Joke frontman, Jaz Coleman has been driven by twin musical loves: experimental rock and classical music. With Manga Invocatio, recorded with Russia's oldest orchestra, the St Petersburg Philharmonic, this stirring body of work taps into the more melodic, uplifting aspects of the KJ musical canon, using Coleman's ongoing journey with this hugely influential UK outfit, something central to his being since later teenage years. [Limited red/black colored vinyl pressing.]

Helado Negro & The Smile Band - Live At KCRW LP (RVNG Int'l)

As Helado Negro and the Smile Band, Roberto Carlos Lange and his faithful music-making companions recreate the sounds of This Is How You Smile for Live At KCRW, a recording of the ensemble's inspired performance on Jason Bentley's Morning Becomes Eclectic. In this living offering, six songs from Helado Negro's most recent and widely embraced album are encouraged to a global sound stage from the intimacy of Lange's studio embrace, swaddled in the comfortable delight of accomplished musicianship and amiable collaboration.

Dhaima - Love Lives Forever LP (Numero)

A heady mix of digi killers, digital roots, dub, electro, and unlikely vocoder magic, Love Lives Forever is the first ever compilation of Miami reggae-not-reggae diva Dhaima. Love Lives Forever gathers a collection of the original Natty Queen's seminal '80s and '90s recordings, including her big 1982 chune "Reggae On Sunset", the Ninakupenda-issued "Don't Feel No Way", the previously unreleased "Loving You Is My Thing", and "Surrender" - the last song recorded before her untimely death in 2000. [Limited colored vinyl pressing.]

Big Star - #1 Record [Reissue/1972] LP (Craft Recordings)

Big Star - Radio City [Reissue/1974] LP (Craft Recordings)

Remastered vinyl reissues of the first two albums by the critically acclaimed, Memphis-based band which is often credited with creating the power pop sound. [We have #1 Record but Radio City has been delayed]

Clear Light - Clear Light [Reissue/1967] LP (Sundazed)

The sole psychedelic '67 testament by the LSD-inspired L.A. band is a frenzy of double drumming, serpentine acid guitar, crunchy fuzz bass, and carnival-clatter keyboards. Limited colored vinyl respress.

Lil Peep - Everybody's Everything 2xLP (Sony)

First compilation album by late rapper Lil Peep, released alongside a documentary of the same name.

Earthgang - Mirrorland 2xLP (J.Cole/Dreamville)

The major label debut studio album from hip-hop duo Earthgang features from Young Thug, T-Pain, Kehlani, Arin Ray, and Malik. The production of the album was handled by a variety of producers including Olu, J. Cole, Elite, Ron Gilmore, Christo, Bink, DJ Dahi, Childish Major and Groove, among others.

Sarah Mary Chadwick - Please Daddy LP (Sinderlyn)

"This music is hard. Not in the sense of machismo or of complexity or of book- smarts or even tunelessness (there's melodies for days), but in the sense that you will come into contact with great pain. It's probably Sarah's, but it might be yours, and as such this disc needs to be handled carefully, as though it glows with some kind of half-life accrued from traumas across a lifetime. Pain, indeed, is one of the ways we can go the deepest, like Fred Nietzsche says (and I'll try not to over-intellectualize, the album doesn't): Only great pain, that long, slow pain that takes it's time and in which we are burned, as it were, over green wood, forces us... to descend into our ultimate depths... I doubt that such pain makes us 'better' - but I know that it makes us deeper." Colored vinyl pressing.

Pod Blotz - Transdimensional System LP (Dais)

Pod Blotz began in 2002 and has released over 25 cassette and vinyl releases. Over the years the project has included a number of guest members and performance artists, but has solely remained the brainchild of Suzy Poling. The prolific experimentalist now makes her Dais debut with the emotionally crushing Transdimensional System. Recorded at Poling's downtown LA studio and produced at Seahorse Sound Studios, Poling made use of sounds and samples collected from the Vintage Synthesizer Museum in Oakland, CA. The record twists and turns throughout space like a writhing exorcism unfurling upon the unsuspecting listener. It's a journey about beauty, and the complexity of post-human existence through a cathartic lens of churning rhythms and haunting vocal work. [Limited colored vinyl pressing.]

Recondite - Dwell LP+MP3 (Ghostly Int'l)

Electronic musician Lorenz Brunner aka Recondite's murky electronic productions, built around mirage-like pads and clipped drum programming, have proven to be highly functional and spectrally enveloping; Dwell is not a return to form, it is a further study of the shapes, it is the modes, and the structures Brunner has trademarked. [Limited colored vinyl pressing.]

Robert Haigh - Black Sarabande LP (Unseen Worlds)

Black Sarabande expands upon pianist-composer Robert Haigh's beguiling debut for Unseen Worlds with a collection of intimate and evocative piano-led compositions.

Pauline Oliveros, Stuart Dempster, Panaotis - Deep Listening 2LP (Important Records)
This definitive double-LP combines the complete original 1989 release with selected tracks from the Deep Listening Band's 1991 album, The Ready Made Boomerang. Recorded in a cistern, this album reverberates with brilliant sonic clarity and masterfully improvised performances combining live electronics, vocals, trombone, and accordion. Deep Listening is a classic in the fields of improvisation, minimalism, ambient/drone, and modern classical. Listen with attentiveness, listen with headphones -- as recording engineer Al Swanson entices the listener to become a virtual performer in selecting the many different ways to perceive these phenomenal tracks. Packaged in a gatefold sleeve with original and updated recollections from the performers, the engineer, and a mesostic from John Cage, to whom these recordings are inextricably linked.

Pleasure Principle - Pleasure Principle LP (Born Bad Records)
Self-recorded by Paul Speedy Ramon without any constraints of format, group or expectations, by letting himself be totally carried away by what was coming out in the moment, the music oscillates between synthetic krautrock, dancehall lo-fi, Manchester sound recorded with toys, rock à la Velvet and Memphis rap for children; and between Les Négresses Vertes and Julien Gracq for the texts . . .Pleasure Principle is located somewhere within a triangle formed by Francis Bebey, Add (n) To X, and Ludwig Von 88...

Yamaneko - Spirals Heaven Wide LP (Local Action)
One of the most quietly influential underground artists of recent times, Yamaneko has been one of the key artists re-contextualizing ambient music for a new generation, crafting fragile compositions that draw as much from the angular shapes of grime, techno and keygen music as they do the soothing soundscapes of new age cassettes, ambient records, and video game soundtracks. Spirals Heaven Wide combines some of his most evocative long-form pieces with the kind of haunting miniatures that made his early music so distinctive, but underpinned by an underlying influence of euphoric dance music, with distant trance and hardcore signifiers visible through the album's thick blankets of wind and fog.

Liz Durette - Delight LP (Feeding Tube Records)
A very whacked new outing from Baltimore keyboard genius Liz Durette. Occasionally sounding like insane calliope music for wicked children with a taste for that old waltz beat, the whole first side could be the soundtrack for a surreal film about dead Viennese courtiers high-stepping their way around the Bardo as though it were a hedge maze. Part of Delight's inspiration was drawn from Gary Burton's amazing '68 LP A Genuine Tong Funeral, comprised of a full set of Carla Bley's wildest early compositions. On the flip, Durette seems keener on exploring the faux percussive aspects of her 'axe.' This involves the simulation of little people tap dancing on a xylophone, as well as very many other transgressive-if-meditative sonic activities. The universe of sounds she creates on Delight is wildly complex, but also appears to operate by a set of congruous rules throughout.

Air Max '97 - Nacre LP (Decisions)
Rugged and lustrous, Air Max '97's first full-length release was written between Melbourne and Berlin and mixed in Mexico City, bearing traces of fleeting yet profound geographic and emotional immersions. Air Max '97's signature baroque momentum is suffused anew with pungent and labile tonal atmospheres, through which organic sonic events and incomprehensibly abstracted vocals wreathe. The record's disposition spans the darkly playful arpeggios of "Veneer" to the dirge-like "Kermes" and paranoiac "Karyon," and the fiendishly twisting tracks are interspersed with more tender moments. The totality is uncompromising and affective, yielding a broader spectrum of Air Max '97 sonics than ever before.

Elton John with Ray Cooper - Live From Moscow 2xCD/2xLP (Mercury)

2019 is the 40th anniversary of Elton John's historic first tour of Russia - he was the first Western rock star to ever perform in the country. The show in Moscow on May 28, 1979 with Ray Cooper was broadcast on BBC radio in the UK. This release is taken from the original broadcast masters, which have been remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering.

Akiko Yano - Gohan Ga Dekitayo CD/2xLP (Wewantsounds)
Originally released in 1980, this superb double-album was recorded with Yellow Magic Orchestra at a time when Yano was part of the group's touring line-up, and it features her superb singing and piano playing enhanced by touches of YMO's synth-pop sound. Co-produced with Ryuichi Sakamoto, the double-LP, whose title could be translated by "Dinner Is Ready" was Yano's first step towards a fuller synth sound following four studio albums mixing pop and jazz funk, a shift that would continue with the release of Tadaima in 1981, also featuring the YMO musicians. The fourteen tracks on Gohan Ga Dekitayo find Yano in top form mixing her singer-songwriter's sensitivity with the electro-pop sound of YMO. Yano is clearly the one in charge with a string of beautiful compositions and a more laid-back rendition of YMO classic "Tong Poo."

John Zorn - Beyond Good & Evil CD (Tzadik)

From 2015-2017, in the midst of an historic creative high, Zorn wrote and recorded no less than six CDs of music for Simulacrum, his most powerful and intense 21st century ensemble; the music then became a project for live performance. This concert from July 2019 finds the band at their blazing best, performing compositions from four different Simulacrum releases.

Blue Öyster Cult - Cult Classic CD/LP (Frontiers)

Blue Öyster Cult - Hard Rock Live Cleveland 2014 CD/3xLP (Frontiers)

Often cited as a major influence by other acts such as Metallica, and BÖC was listed in VH1's countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time. Originally released in 1994, Cult Classic features re-recordings of the band's biggest hits and most famous songs, including "Don't Fear The Reaper", "Burning For You", and "Astronomy", "Don't Fear The Reaper" and more. Hard Rock Live Cleveland 2014 offers a very comprehensive and exciting essay on their repertoire (stand-alone Blu-ray edition also available).
