We’re thrilled to kick-off a festive holiday season with a special in-store performance and album signing by Chris Isaak on Sunday, November 20th. We’ll host Isaak for one of our rare Sunday events, starting with a performance in the record store at 2:00 PM, to be immediately followed by an album signing.
On November 18th, Chris Isaak’s Everybody Knows It’s Christmas will be released on Candy Cane colored red & white swirled vinyl and CD by the legendary Sun Records! The album is produced by Dave Cobb here in Nashville and features eight original songs, as well as five Christmas classics, all paying tribute to the iconic Sun Records’ aesthetic.
“The holidays are such a special time for me and the pandemic left us all so isolated. I felt like a holiday album was a great opportunity to bring people together this year. I had so much fun making this album and designing the cover,” said Isaak. “It was a joy to work with Dave Cobb and we worked in his iconic RCA studio where John Prine had placed a year-round Christmas tree to keep the holidays alive. I loved that idea so I’m going to keep that spirit alive.”
In the course of Chris Isaak's career, he has released nine extraordinary albums, twelve singles, been nominated for two Grammy awards, acted in several motion pictures and starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series. His legendary shows with his longtime band Silvertone have entertained tens of thousands of people for over two decades. Even his hair has its own fan club.

You can preorder Everybody Knows It’s Christmas in person at Grimey’s (& over the phone) as well as on our webstore, and you’ll secure your wristband for our signing with Isaak.
A Note on Wristbands + Preorders: Wristbands are free with preorders through Grimey’s and are required for those 13+ to participate in our signing with Chris Isaak. One preorder purchased = one wristband. Wristbands are non-transferable. Preorder Everybody Knows It’s Christmas in the record shop as well as on our website. If you live out of state but want to attend our event, please note the process explained on the preorder page and select local shipping for your preorder. Preorders for local pick up will be available starting 11/18, as well as at our event.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION! Our parking lot is shared with other rad businesses and it is a finite space, so parking is limited. In addition to our lot, there is an inexpensive paid parking lot behind Elegy Coffee and Mickey's on Gallatin Road that is a short walk from the shop. Please use EXTREME CAUTION if parking on the nearby, narrow neighborhood streets. Too many cars make these roads impassable and result in angry neighbors, the police being called, and cars being towed. (This is no fun at all.) If possible, please consider carpooling, ride-sharing, walking, biking, scooting, roller skating, or taking the bus to attend Chris Isaak’s record release celebration.
