Chuck Mead, Jason Ringenberg, and Jim Lauderdale will take you on a Cosmic Honky Tonk musical adventure as they swap songs & share stories at this intimate, acoustic in-the-round performance. These three trailblazers have been at the forefront, helping to shape the genres of Rockabilly, Cowpunk, Alt-Country, Roots and Classic Country that collectively encompass the current neo-traditional country movement. Noting Jim Lauderdale's West coast Palomino era, BR549's Midwest roots turned Nashville legacy and the fire of Jason & The Scorchers blazing around the globe, together these three have paved the way for many current artists in this vast Americana landscape. Mead, Lauderdale and Ringenberg are performing at the Caverns on Saturday, December 7th at 7PM (tickets available here) where they'll be sharing a band, but first they're stopping in at Grimey's next Tuesday, Nov 26th, at 6PM for an acoustic, in-the-round performance with just the three of them sharing songs and stories. Starting on Tuesday, November 26th we'll kick off our second annual Give a Little Christmas Toy & Gift Drive, in partnership with the Give a Little Nashville non-profit organization. Folks wanting to participate in our toy & gift drive should bring by new, unwrapped toys, gifts and stocking stuffers appropriate for children ages 0-18. Our drive runs through Tuesday, December 17th and, as a thank you, all customers who provide donations to the drive will be gifted a coupon good for 10% off a purchase through December 31st (exclusions apply).
