Droneroom is a drone/experimental project with Blake Conley as the sole member. The project originated in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, where Conley recorded two EPs and two albums under the Droneroom name. Upon moving to Louisville in 2016, Droneroom began performing live and working on new material, eventually leading up to Jesus Year in 2018 to positive reviews. Now signed to Somewherecold Records, Droneroom is releasing a new album called I'll Make It Up To You, I Swear... With special guest Rachel Thode (Slow Glows) showing up on a few tracks with her masterful percussion work, the album is a sonic ride that centers on guitars and guitar loops as only Droneroom can present.
