Elegant Weapons Album Signing and Record Release Celebration + BEER:30

  • Grimey's New and Preloved Music 1060 East Trinity Lane Nashville, TN, 37216 United States (map)

We hope you can join us on Saturday, May 27th at 5:00 PM for a special album signing with Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest) to celebrate the release of his new band Elegant Weapons’ debut album, Horns for a Halo. Faulkner will be hanging out with us for our weekly BEER:30 event and signing records for those in attendance. Customers can preorder the album for local pickup from Grimey’s, via our link here or in the record store.

Elegant Weapons’ Horns for a Halo will be released on May, 26th 2023 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album features the firepower of Judas Priest’s guitarist Richie Faulkner alongside his super group of bandmates Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, Vandenberg, Michael Schenke), Dave Rimmer (Uriah Heep), and Christopher Williams (Accept). Produced by Andy Sneap, the album perpetuates the rich legacy of the traditional proto-power metal invented by the heavy metal titans of the ‘70s and ‘80s.

BEER:30 is our weekly hang on Saturday afternoons at 5:00 PM, sponsored by the good folks at Tennessee Brew Works! We love to hang out with y’all and share delicious cold beers and it’s all for a good cause because while the brews are complimentary, we do accept tips that we donate Headcount, a non-partisan, non-profit voter registration organization that centers its work around music. Attendees must be 21+ to participate in the beer drinking and must present a valid state or federal ID for proof of age, however, generally speaking this is a free & all ages event, so come one, come all.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION! Our parking lot is shared with other rad businesses and it is a finite space, so parking is limited. In addition to our lot, there is an inexpensive paid parking lot behind Elegy Coffee and Mickey's on Gallatin Road that is a short walk from the shop. Please use EXTREME CAUTION if parking on the nearby, narrow neighborhood streets. Too many cars make these roads impassable and result in angry neighbors, the police being called, and cars being towed. (This is no fun at all.) If possible, please consider carpooling, ride-sharing, walking, biking, scooting, roller skating, or taking the bus to attend Richie Faulkner’s Elegant Weapons album signing.
