BEER:30 is back, baby! Drop by the record shop on Saturday, May 20th at 5:00 PM for a special DJ set from our friends at Headcount and drink a cold one with us, courtesy of Nashville’s own Tennessee Brew Works! Attendees must be 21+ to participate in the beer drinking and must present a valid state or federal ID for proof of age, however, generally speaking this is a free & all ages event! Awesome volunteers from the Headcount organization will be in the house spinning records and setting the soundtrack for BEER:30 this week. And, if you need to update your voter ID info or register to vote, they can help you take care of that while you’re here!
While there is no cost for the TN Brew Works beer provided, we do encourage you to tip—all tips collected go to support Headcount. HeadCount is a non-partisan org that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy. They reach young people and music fans where they already are - at concerts and online - to inform and empower. Did you know that Tennessee regularly has one of the lowest voter turnouts in the nation? We’d love to see that change and hope to encourage every eligible voter in our area to actively participate in the democratic process.
