We’re big fans of Kacey Musgraves and are so pumped to be able to celebrate the release of Deeper Well with her in the record shop the day after the album drops! Kacey will be saying hi to fans, taking pictures, and signing copies of her new record at Grimey’s at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 16th.
To participate in Kacey’s meet & greet and album signing, preorder a copy of Deeper Well on our website here or in the record store and you’ll receive a wristband for our event. Wristbands are required for the signing line where you can say hey to Kacey and get a pic when she signs your copy of Deeper Well. Due to time constraints and so as many fans as possible can participate, Kacey will only be signing one (1) copy of her new record per person. However, each customer can preorder as many as two (2) copies of Deeper Well for a total of two wristbands—one wristband per album preordered—allowing for up to two people to participate per order placed. Wristbands are non-transferable and are required for participation in this event. (Wristbands not required for those 12 & under if attending with a wristband-holding adult.) If you already placed a preorder for Deeper Well through Grimey’s we will have wristbands reserved for you based on the number of albums you initially preordered. You must be present to participate in our Kacey Musgraves Deeper Well album signing. (Sorry but we are unable to have albums signed for those who preordered but cannot attend.)
Wristbands for this event will be distributed with preorder pickup. We encourage you to arrive no earlier than one hour prior to event start time--everyone who participates in our preorder will be able to go through the signing line, so no need to line up extra early. Because parking is limited on-site, please consider carpooling, ride-sharing or walking to our event. The signing line will form outside our front entrance and wrap around our building on the Living Waters Brewing side, then behind our shop, through the breezeway between Grimey’s & Anaconda Vintage, wrapping back up the side of Grimey’s, towards Trinity Lane and then finally across the parking area and into the grassy lot and down the tree-line. (For those who haven’t been to the shop in a while, please note the grassy lot next door is no longer available for parking.) Before hopping in line, please be sure to grab your wristband and preorder from one of the upstairs counters in the record store. This is a rain or shine event, which involves standing in line. Please arrive with that in mind and consider bringing along a tote bag so you won't' have to hold your album in your hand during your time in line.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION!
Our parking lot is shared with other rad businesses and it is a finite space, so parking is limited. Another parking option is the pay lot behind Elegy Coffee and Mickey's off Gallatin Road, two blocks down the street. Please use EXTREME CAUTION if parking on the narrow neighborhood streets. Too many cars make these roads impassable and result in angry neighbors, police calls, and towing. An officer who lives across the street and was blocked by event attendees 3 times last year. We don’t want to anger or disrespect any of our neighbors. If you block driveways or park illegally you will be towed. Please consider carpooling, ride-sharing, walking, biking, scooting, roller skating, or taking the bus to attend this Grimey’s event.
