Preorder the new JOHNNYSWIM album When the War is Over on pink colored vinyl and CD here and score a wristband for the band’s February 12th signing in the record shop! The band will be celebrating the release of When the War is Over with an intimate instore performance followed by an album signing and we can’t wait! All who preorder the album for local pickup will receive a wristband for each album preordered. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ (kids 12 & under don’t need a wristband if attending with a wristband-holding adult.) Like space in the record shop, wristbands are limited. Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano Ramirez are JOHNNYSWIM. This husband-wife singer-songwriter duo began releasing music together in 2008, with their self-titled EP. They’ve gone on to release numerous albums and have toured the world! Though they were originally based in Nashville, they’ve since moved out West. We’re thrilled be able to welcome them back to Music City when we host them at Grimey’s around the release of their new record.

Through extensive touring, JOHNNYSWIM cultivated a devoted fanbase worldwide, connecting deeply with listeners. In their upcoming album, When The War Is Over, the band captures a profound journey through personal upheaval and resilience. Inspired by a season marked by intense challenges, Abner and Amanda vulnerably explore themes of physical and mental health, and self-realization through 11 deeply personal tracks. The album symbolizes their journey toward healing, serving as a declaration of moving forward. Arriving amidst uncertain times, When The War Is Over is more than a collection of songs—it stands defiantly as a testimony of resilience, vulnerability, and the unbreakable bond between two people navigating life’s storms together.

Event orders are limited to four (4) albums total ), per customer / household, so you can secure up to four (4) total wristbands per order placed, however JOHNNYSWIM will only be able to sign up to two albums (vinyl and/or CD) per person. Each album preordered comes with one wristband such that two LPs = 2 wristbands, 1 CD = 1 wristband, etc. *Wristbands are required for all 13+ to participate in our signing. (Kids 12 and under do not need wristbands to participate with a wristband-holding adult.) Space is limited and so are wristbands. Wristbands guarantee entrance to our event.
