Knox will be in town to headline The Mainstage at Cannery Hall for his SOLD OUT show that night and we’re pumped he’s able to make a stop by Grimey’s while he’s in town. For his first full-length, Knox has stacked his record with fan favorite singles such as “Pick Your Poison,” “You Happened,” “Fifty Fifty,” and the breakout “Not The 1975.” The opener “Now & Then” hinges on a thumping bassline punctuated by glitchy keys, snaps, and claps as he warns an ex, “Don’t you call me crying, don’t apologize, don’t come out the woodwork looking for a ride.”  The title track picks up the pace with its punky drive and sunny and skyscraping refrain, “Is it a bird, is it a plane, or is it an angel taking my heart away?” Knox teams up with frequent collaborator and fellow genre disruptor Bilmuri on the standout “Headfirst” where wild riffing spins out of control towards a confident chorus, “If I’m going down, I’m going headfirst.” Then, there’s the emotionally complex, yet wistfully upbeat “Win Some, Lose Somebody.” He grapples with the effects of success on personal relationships, exhaling during an irresistible hook, “You want to wake up with everything you need, but when you win some, you lose somebody.” It’s no wonder the likes of Billboard, Melodic Magazine, Digital High, and more continue to sing his praises.

Going, Going Gone is available to order here on vinyl now and all albums ordered for event pickup in the store will receive a wristband for our signing with Knox on 5/10. Wristbands are required for all 13+ to participate in the signing (kids 12 & under don’t need wristbands if attending with a wristband-holding adult).

Preorders are limited to a total of 4 per person, however each event attendee with a wristband may only have up to 2 albums signed per person.
