1/21 Update: Our Larkin Poe Bloom preorder has SOLD OUT! Thanks to all who participated. We will have more copies of the album available in the record store starting on release day, 1/24, however there will be NO MORE WRISTBANDS for our event available with purchase. Customers without wristbands who hope to catch their performance can join our overflow line starting at 11:00 AM on 1/25; entry will be granted based on space available on a first come, first served basis.

Preorder Larkin Poe’s Bloom for local pickup and make plans to join us in the record shop for an intimate instore performance & album signing with the band the day after their new album drops! They’ll be playing a short set in the store at noon on Saturday, January 25th with an album signing immediately to follow. All who preorder Bloom for local, store pickup will score a wristband for the album signing. Wristbands are required for all 13+ to participate in the signing (kids 12 & under are free with wristband wearing adults.) Space is limited and wristband also gurantree entry. Already hailed for the sincerity of their songcraft, Larkin Poe's Megan and Rebecca Lovell place an even greater spotlight on their gift for storytelling on their new album Bloom. The dynamic Grammy and Americana Award-winning sister duo delves deep into personal narratives with universal themes of self-acceptance and individuality against a backdrop of contemporary blues and rock influences. Together, they venture further along on their evolving musical journey with a collection of songs that resonate with intro.

Reflecting on the album’s thematic core, Megan explains, “In one way or another, pretty much all of the songs on this album are about finding yourself, knowing yourself, and separating the truth of who you are from societal expectations.” This sentiment permeates through the first song, “Mockingbird”, a contemplative piece on personal growth and staying true to one self amidst life’s twists and turns. Rebecca adds,“ ‘Mockingbird’ is a tender reflection on the perpetual journey of becoming. When viewed through a reductive lens, the inevitable countless missteps I’ve taken in my life can feel disheartening—but looking too long in the rearview can be harmful to one’s future. Choosing to find the hidden meaning in the pitstops and messy detours that life sometimes demands has felt like a very important perspective shift.”

Due out Friday, January 24th, Bloom is available to preorder here on limited edition black splatter colored vinyl (exclusive to indie record shops) and CD. All who preorder Bloom will also receive a wristband for the band’s upcoming album signing on 1/25/25.

Event orders are limited to four (4) albums total (this could be LPs or CDs), per customer / household, so you can secure up to four (4) total wristbands per order placed, however Larkin Poe will only sign up to two records per person. *Wristbands are required for all 13+ to participate in our signing. (Kids 12 and under do not need wristbands to participate with a wristband-holding adult.)

Event orders may be picked up at Grimey’s on the day of our event, Saturday, January 24th.
