She’ll be performing a short set in the shop before signing copies of her new album. All who preorder a copy of the new album on our site here or in the record store will receive a signing wristband with their preorder. Wristbands are required for the album signing and guarantee entrance to our event. (Kids 12 & under don’er need wristbands if attending with wristband-holding adults.)

Following back-to-back Grammy-winning albums with her band Golden Highway, along with a Best New Artist nomination, Molly Tuttle releases her new solo album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine, on August 15, 2025 via Nonesuch Records. Recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce (Orville Peck, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson), Tuttle’s fifth full length marks a sonic departure from her recent work and features twelve new songs (eleven originals and one cover, of Icona Pop and Charli xcx's "I Love It.") The album is a hybrid of pop, country, rock, and flat-picking (plus one murder ballad.)

On SLLMS Tuttle goes to a whole new place. Her virtuoso guitar work takes center stage on this album more than ever, and for the first time, she introduces her banjo playing into two of her recordings. "I like to be a bit of a chameleon with my music. Keep people guessing and keep it full of surprises, " she says. For the recording Tuttle is joined by drummer/percussionists Jay Bellerose and Fred Eltringham, bassist Byron House, and Joyce, who recorded for the album on multiple instruments. Ketch Secor (Old Crow Medicine Show) also plays banjo, fiddle, and harmonica, as well as singing harmony; much of SLLMS was co-written with Secor, who is also Tuttle's partner (and someone we’re a big fan of too). According to Tuttle, “we spend so much time together, we live together, and anytime I have a song idea, or he has one, it's just so easy to transition from whatever we're doing into writing a song."

Tuttle also conceived the artwork for So Long Little Miss Sunshine, which features multiple Mollys, each wearing a different wig except for one with nothing on her head at all. Tuttle has been bald since she was three years old due to the autoimmune condition alopecia areata; she acts as a spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. When you’re at the record store, be sure to check out Alexandria Hall’s larger-than-life mural rendition of the album’s artwork, which is currently rocking the East-facing wall of Grimey’s.

So Long Little Miss Sunshine is available to preorder here on CD & pink colored vinyl LP. Preorders are limited to two per format, per customer / household. For each album preordered, you’ll receive one wristband such that two LPs preordered = two wristbands, one CD preordered = one wristband, etc. All who place preorders in advance will receive an email with preorder pickup and event details the day before our event.

During our signing event Molly will sign up to two copies of her album per wristbanded attendee. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and guarantee entrance to our event. (Wristbands are not required for kids 12 & under attending with a wristband-holding adult.)

Preorders placed for local, event pickup will be available on the day of our event with Molly, Tuesday, August 19th.
