For her seventh (!) studio album Brandi Carlile returned to Nashville to record at RCA Studio A, working with Dave Cobb and Shooter Jennings. Carlile says “mostly it’s a celebration.” In These Silent Days “is what drama mixed with joy sounds like. It’s resistance and gratitude, righteous anger and radical forgiveness. It’s the sound of these silent days.”

Contributors on the album include longtime collaborators and bandmates Tim and Phil Hanseroth, as well as drummer / percussionist Chris Powell, and string player Josh Neumann. Special guests include Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius.

Released October 1st via Elektra, In These Silent Days is available on limited edition gold colored vinyl (available exclusively at indie record shops), standard black vinyl and CD. Due to the special nature of this release, orders are limited to two (2) per format, per person / household.
