Hill Country Love. is the new studio album from Grammy-Award Winning Bluesman Cedric Burnside. The album is a culmination of a career that’s already seen astonishing accomplishments and only keeps growing. When Burnside prepared to record the album, the follow-up to his 2021 Grammy-award winning album, I Be Trying, he set up shop in a former legal office located in a row of structures in the seat of Tippah County, Ripley, Mississippi, a town with 5,000 residents that’s known as the birthplace of the “Hill Country” Blues style. This space, initially earmarked to be Burnside's juke joint, created an authentic and resonant sound environment, capturing the essence of the album's soulful and gritty aesthetic. Produced alongside fellow Mississippian and friend of the record store, Luther Dickinson, the album's 14 tracks were completed in an extraordinary two-day session, highlighting the spontaneous and raw energy of Burnside's music.

Hill Country Love is due out April 5th, 2024, on limited edition LP and CD via Provogue Records
