Singer-songwriter Nicole Atkins fifth studio album Italian Ice is due out May 29th for Single Lock Records. This follows her 2017 record Good Night Rhonda Lee. She recorded he​r​ new album with Ben Tanner at the famed Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The record features contributions from some of our faves, Seth Avett (Avett Brothers), John Paul White (Civil Wars), and Erin Rae. Atkins co-wrote songs for the album with Hamilton Leithauser (The Walkmen) and Carl Boremel (My Morning Jacket). During her time in isolation she's been busy working on a cool performance series entitled Alone We're All Together, a livestream show with weekly special guests from around the globe that streams on Saturdays at 6 PM central from her website.
