The SteelDrivers are back with their first album of new material in years—Outrun, due out May 23rd via Sun Records on Whiskey Brown colored vinyl LP and CD. We are pleased as punch to be hosting the band at Grimey’s on Thursday, May 29th for an intimate instore performance & album signing. All who preorder Outrun for local, event pickup will receive a wristband for the band’s album signing on 5/29. Space is limit and wristbands guarantee entry. The SteelDrivers celebrate their 20th anniversary with their seventh studio album, Outrun. The Nashville-based bluegrass band simultaneously defies the traditions of the bluegrass genre and redefines it for generations to come, expertly weaving in rock, soul, blues, and Americana. "We wanted to create a record that felt timeless and musically connected to our past, and honor our founding member, Mike Henderson who passed away in 2023." Outrun was recorded at Playloud Studio and was produced by the band. This is their first release for the legendary Sun Records and will be available on Whiskey Brown colored vinyl LP and CD.
